At ShivaDurga Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we want you to be satisfied with your purchase from shop.shivadurgai.com (the “Site”). This Refund & Returns Policy explains when and how you can return an item and receive a refund. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.

1. Overview

You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order, provided the item meets the eligibility conditions below. Once your return is received and inspected, an approved refund is issued to your original payment method.

2. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • Be returned within 14 days of the delivery date.
  • Be unused, unworn, and in the same condition that you received it.
  • Be in its original packaging, with any tags, labels, or seals intact.
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase, such as your order number or receipt.

Items returned in a used, damaged (by the customer), or incomplete condition may be refused or subject to a reduced refund.

3. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned, including:

  • Items marked as final sale or clearance.
  • Gift cards.
  • Personalized or custom-made items.
  • For health and hygiene reasons, certain personal-care or consumable products once opened or with broken seals.

This does not affect your rights in respect of items that are defective, damaged, or not as described (see Section 8 and Section 10).

4. How to Start a Return

To start a return, contact us at support@shivadurgai.com with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return. We will review your request and, if approved, provide return instructions and the return address. Please do not send items back before receiving these instructions, as unauthorized returns may not be processed.

5. Return Shipping Costs

If the return is the result of our error — for example, you received an incorrect, defective, or damaged item — we will cover the cost of return shipping and arrange a prepaid label or reimburse your reasonable return shipping cost.

For all other returns (such as a change of mind), you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit. Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where the return is due to our error or where otherwise required by applicable consumer-protection law.

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow a reasonable processing period for the refund to appear, as the timing depends on your payment provider or financial institution.

Refunds cover the price of the eligible returned item(s). Original shipping charges and any return shipping you paid are not refunded unless the return is due to our error or is otherwise required by law.

7. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item (for example, for a different size or variant), please contact us at support@shivadurgai.com. The fastest way is usually to return the original item for a refund (subject to this Policy) and place a new order for the item you want, subject to availability.

8. Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue and the packaging. We will arrange a replacement, a refund, or another suitable resolution at no additional shipping cost to you. This is in addition to any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.

9. Order Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We can usually cancel an order before it has shipped and issue a full refund. Once an order has shipped, it is subject to the return process described above.

10. Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any rights or remedies you may have under applicable Canadian or provincial consumer-protection law, including Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act. Where such laws provide greater protection than this Policy, those laws apply.
